LUCID: System Requirements & Availability

Hardware

• Minimum 486 PC (Pentium 133 recommended) with 8 MB Ram (16 recommended) and 40 MB of hard disk space.

• Windows 3.1, Windows 95, or Windows NT.

• Minimum 256 colors and 800 x 600 resolution.

Availability

LUCID is currently available in beta release for use in classes for the Fall of 1998 and Spring of 1999.  If you are interested in joining our beta test phase, contact us as below to receive information on how to download LUCID over the internet or a receive a CD.

The commercial release of LUCID is anticipated in the early summer of 1999 for use during the 1999-2000 academic year.  Please contact us for a current demo version that can be downloaded over the internet.
