Hydrogenases 1997




FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
March 1996

The Fifth International Conference on Hydrogenases, "HYDROGENASES 97", will be held from July 12 to July 17 1997 in Albertville, Savoie, France.


The Scientific Programme will include plenary lectures, short communications, round-table discussions and poster sessions. It will be structured around the following topics: 1 - Nickel Hydrogenases
2 - Iron Hydrogenases
3 - Unusual Hydrogenases and Hydrogenase-related Processes
4 - Protein Structure and Active Site
5 - Synthetic Models
6 - Genetics and Biosynthesis
7 - Biological Functions
8 - Environmental and Energy-related Aspects

The conference will be held at the hotel "Le Roma", Route Nationale 90, 73200 Albertville France (Tel: 33 79 37 15 56; Fax: 33 79 37 01 31), the former Headquarters of the Olympic Committee for the 1992 Winter Olympic Games. Albertville can be reached by train (TGV) from Paris, Lyon, Chambéry. It is located at a distance of 100 km from Satolas, the International Airport of Lyon and of 120 km from Geneva International Airport (Cointrin).

Please include your name and address, and also indicate if you want to make a presentation. The second Announcement containing all details on registration, accommodation, abstracts. will be mailed in the Fall of 1996.
