Department of Chemistry's New Seminar Room

The room was officially opened by Dr. Iwao Ojima, Distinguished Professor and Chair, Department of Chemistry; assisted by Dr. Gail S. Habicht, Vice President for Research, Research Foundation Operations Manager, and Professor of Pathology and Dr. Alvin J. Silverstein, Executive Officer.

Also mentioned, were the efforts of Alvin Silverstein, assisted by Ms. Donna Barrington-Stotsky, Mr. Ed Jourdan and Mr. David Jutting, for excellent project management. Immediately following the ceremony, Professor Ojima delivered his State of the Department address from the podium of the new room.
